Also don’t get me wrong I love the car and for the most part have not had any issues with ford taking car of a problem when it happens. I still enjoy the car as much today as day 1. I’m not a mechanic but I do listen for the odd noises and take notice. My wife is a different story(which is exactly why I don’t let her drive when I’m not around lol).

Yep, I don't hear any obvious BBQ Tick going on in that video - especially from underneath since that is where the BBQ Tick can be heard the most if the engine has it. There's a bit more constant light ticking on the passenger side, but that could very well be the DI fuel pump on that engine.

The noise seems limited to the passenger side of the motor. No the noise or the feeling of the tick being in the shifter was not there prior to the oil change here is a longer clip not pretty or perfect.

Okay in this video it sounds "EXACTLY" like the noise my car had before the engine blew. My engine started it around 1500 miles, after first oil change. It persisted until 14383, which was the milage that marked the end of the engine.

I have a thread here about my experience. Sounds very similar to yours with Ford saying they wouldn't cover it. Now I work for the government and we have an entire fleet of cars, therefore we employ mechanics and such. One of those mechanics is an older man that is basically an engine genius. He listened to it and said it was coming from the valve train and sounded like a valve spring. I relayed that to Ford and again they said it's a normal sound. The service manager told me that the only way I was going to get Ford to do anything about it was to blow the engine, which I did a few weeks ago..wasn't deliberate. But my story gets much worse as the plants are all closed down due to Covid19. So I may be without my mustang for 6months or more while they wait on engine production to begin again.

Sorry man, I'm still not hearing anything. Albeit I am at work and the computer on my desk has crappy speakers. If it is engine tick I highly doubt they will do anything about it, which is unfortunate, because I still firmly believe it's an issue, despite the TSB's they release. It may be a minor issue as many people don't have issues with their vehicles...and it may be non-detrimental as they claim, but it's most certainly "not normal".

100K Brand New Shelby Supersnake 4 weeks old Body Defects, Electrical Problems, Verified by #Ford Body Shop Verified by Ford says no big deal we will fix it with body putty and paint half the car. Do not trust Ford Shelby Products. Have Videos and Email Trail to Share. 3 Months send to Vegas from St. Louis and fill roof with Putty and paint Roof and Quarters. Damage on roof in exact places on both sides of roof - Fender Liner Missing Retainer Clips - Stripes Peeling - Shelby Hood Mold was Bad - Nuts and Bolts have vibrated out of all hood vents - Car goes into limp mode and disables Drive Modes, Front and Rear Cross Sensors, All Safety Features - Have 7 videos - Dealerships want nothing to do with car because it is a supersnake and literally one Ford Dealer said unless I guarantee a 5 star service rating they will not consider touching the vehicle.

* Hood Vents Loose and Missing Nuts
* Possible Coolant Leak - I have to Recheck to see if there is new Coolant on the splitter after wiping it up
* Bubbles in stripes and Peeling in certain places
* Deck Lid has Fish Eyes and Also what appears to be Water Spots under the clear coat
* Two indentations on left and right side of roof panel in the same exact places on both sides as well as Left and right side creases on the roof panel in identical spots on left and right side
* Car has experienced electrical problems 6 times now - disabling Front Collision System, Lane Assist, Rear Camera and Rear Sensors, Traction Control, Drive Modes, and Drastically Reducing the Power to the Vehicle. The Radio has also went black when this happens This has reset itself but has taken between 5 minutes and 2 hours.Videos to prove these issues.
* Today after the above happened and the car actually shut the motor off and then I had to restart it while the car was moving. After stopping and getting it all to reset, the Vehicle front collision warning went off flashing red lights and the car abruptly decelerated with no vehicle in front of me.

Ford offered to pop out dents after they acknowledged it was a manufacturing defect - Fill with Body Putty and Paint Roof and Blend into the quarter panels - Remove front Bumper Cover and reattach the sensors which may or may not be what is causing the electrical problems - Shelby restripe and paint Deck lid and replace and paint new Shelby Hood! This Could 3 plus months and I would have to make the payments, but they would give me a Focus to drive!

Brand New Supersnake 800HP Plus Plus running at half the horsepower it is supposed to and a New 100K Car that has 3/4 of the Car Repainted and has Body Putty. Just a PSA be careful. And before anybody says I am an idiot for buying a 100K Mustang, I thought I was buying a Shelby and their service - Never again!

Did you look at the car before taking delivery? Depending, it might be time to talk to a lawyer as much as I hate to say it.
