  1. Rear Pinion Flange bolts loose

That was my original plan. But I just figured I'd let Ford do it since they have the tool to torque them properly. My tool doesn't have the torque capability these bolts call for. I went to Ford, its under warranty, and just told them to lock tight them and torque them to 41 foot pounds. After...
  2. Rear Pinion Flange bolts loose

Just in case this is searched one day by someone in similar situation. The problem was solved. These bolts are not reusable. They were taken out, by Ford, when I had an engine replacement. Apparently they were reused. This is why they won't stay tight. New bolts ordered.
  3. Rear Pinion Flange bolts loose

Was putting some jack rails on my 2019 MT82 manual mustang. While I was under there I slid to the rear of the car to just do a visual inspection of the differential, axles, etc. Noticed a very loose bolt on the pinion Flange, where it connects to the rear differential from the drive shaft. I...
  4. MGW X-spec Short throw knob

I recently ordered the MGW X-spec short throw for my 2019 Mustang GT. I have always wanted to pair this new shifter with a high quality Raceseng knob. However, I've heard some conflicting information on rather the Raceseng knobs fit the MGW. Some folks have told me it will fit it perfectly and...
  5. E-85 Ethanol Hard to Find

Only three e85 stations, that I know of, in my entire state (TN). But they are all east and center of state. Closest station to me is an hour away. Therefore no reason to tune for it.
  6. First Oil Change At 15,000km? (9,000 miles)?

So many different opinions on this. 1. Some say follow the oil life gauge. Its supposed to adjust based on how you drive and so forth. 2. Some say no more than 5k miles. Change every 5k, regardless. 3. Some say definitely change your oil after break in. Others say no need. 4. Some keep...
  7. Mustang tick?

Was 2400 miles when you changed the oil? My experience and the experience of many other Coyote owners is the noises start after first oil change. I'm on my second engine now and I think I'm going to do it a bit differently. My first oil change, at 1k miles, is going to be 5W50 straight away. My...
  8. Mustang tick?

Sounds pretty good to me. I had a catastrophic engine failure at 14000 miles due to a loud engine noise. Cruising down road, in sixth gear (manual), the engine failed and dumped all 10 qts of my oil out the exhaust. It had been to the dealer, making the noise in the below video, 3 times. The...
  9. Car at the dealer :(

Okay in this video it sounds "EXACTLY" like the noise my car had before the engine blew. My engine started it around 1500 miles, after first oil change. It persisted until 14383, which was the milage that marked the end of the engine. I have a thread here about my experience. Sounds very...
  10. Covid19 Issues with Engine Replacement

I've never had to trek across the cold and barren landscape of a warranty claim. I hope someone who is experienced in dealing with Ford may have some knowledge and input for me. Quick Background: I own a 2019 Mustang GT. It has 14k miles on it. I bought it when it had 700 miles on it. I did...
