Not on mine. Sounds like a valvetrain noise of some kind. I would say it is definitely top end, not bottom. Take it in to dealer. I don't think it is exhaust because it is not consistent. Exhaust leaks are typically consistent unless you rev the engine then they speed up. This seems to waiver some with the car just idling.

That could be that exhaust leak that there is a TSB about. It is the driver side that is covered in the TSB.

Also could be valvetrain rattle?

It has gotten worse over time. Car sounds like complete piece of crap when you start it up cold. Embarrassing really

Lol...... Stopped in today to ask if we had any progress on the car diagnosis. I was told it was at the upholstery shop for the seat cooling TSB and the noise issue was resolved. They were embarrassed to admit that the master mechanic diagnosed it as soon as car was started this morning...... Exhaust was slightly touching and when car was cold and exhaust was cold it touched and rattled. Once warm exhaust hit it the exhaust moved enough to not hit. The guy I talked to the last two times was very apologetic since the first thing I asked was if the exhaust was hitting.

I least I got to drive a new F150 crew cab for past 3 days. Nice truck!
