Can't Activate Ford Pass

Just switched phones and reinstated FordPass. App says I have to activate vehicle. But, no way to do it. No message appears on display. Nothing. All it says now is 'Activation Pending.' Need a little help. Thanks.

Did you create a new account? I use the same account on my iPhone and Note and when I had to reset my Note all I did was signed in. It was already saved.

Did you make sure you put the right Vin number?

I used the same info. It found my car. Said I had to activate it. Now it just says pending.

Go to settings and then go to FordPass reset/disable everything and then turn the car off for 5 minutes and then turn it back on. Within a couple of minutes it should prompt you allow Matthew's phone or whatever it says

If that doesn't help then I suggest doing a master reset by going to settings, general and then scroll down to reset. Also delete your car from the fordpass app and then resend the activatiom

Your modem may need to be reset. Mine did the same, ended up replacing the modem.

I'd say it is like most things; just for convivence. It doesn't do anything that you can't do by walking out to the car. lol I typically only open the app when I am away traveling and that usually is to check if I locked it or will need to go to the gas station when I return I feel you......no real reason for the app.
