I completely agree with the 2nd to last question. They are taking the right approach to the engine order and allowing the owner/customer to pick their engine THEN options.
Eight configurable attributes... let's see:

-exhaust butterfly valves
-throttle mapping
-variable dampers
-traction and stability control (are they counting that as two?)
-steering weight
-???
-???
-???

Either way, I'm getting five or six total variables. What else could be manually adjusted? Are they getting F1-style 0-10 ABS/TCS/STM knobs?

Q : Why didn’t you fix the rearward visibility for the next-gen ? That was the single biggest complaint for the Gen 5.
A: We talked to many Gen 5 customers about the visibility, and they made it clear they were not willing to accept changing the appearance of the Camaro’s iconic silhouette for the sake or rear visibility. We are using increased levels of technology to help with visibility, including a standard back up camera on all models, and available rear sonar.

That's their solution? A backup camera?

The EB4 is moving to base because the V6 is on its way out. I believe that the Coyote will receive DI and its output will increase to 465-475hp.

The EB4 will always be the base at 325-335hp.

An EB6 (not Twin Turbo) will take the Coyote's place around 410-420.

Twin Turbo Ecoboost will be reserved for the V8 initially. Until the NA 5.0 is phased out in 5-10 years for a 500hp TT3.5 V6 GT. Or, the Voodoo becomes the standard V8 over 550hp, a budget FGT TT3.5 @ 450 and a reduced EB2.0 to fight the MPG battle down low. Sure, it will probably still be 325hp but it will swing a potential weak spot in the Mustang lineup... MPG's...

I say by 2020-'22 the Mustang is offered with...

A 5.0 Voodoo with DI @ 550+hp
A Budget TT3.5 @ 450hp
A MPG contender with a EB2.0.

We will also see a TT5.0 Coyote or, an EB Voodoo/TT Voodoo. Maybe a placeholder SC Coyote in 2017.

A Base GT will also cost us $45,000 though...

I'm sure the engineers did their part with the new Camaro, but design wise...it just doesn't excite me. I like how the Mustang kept the classic looks while still looking modern. GM took absolutely no chances with this design and heads should roll for it. Also, LOL at the people that thought the Camaro was going to have more hp than the vette.

The design is visually disappointing as if I'm not surprised after the weeks of GM teasing and hyping the car. I do like the hood shape and the front end in general isn't horrible, but remains virtually unchanged. The rear end isn't appealing at all. From a performance standpoint the mustang is in trouble, but not enough to counter the bad looks of the car. The 2015 Mustang redesign was much better IMO. Ford redesigned the car to appeal to more than just die-hard Mustang enthusiasts. The entire design has both a functional and visual appeal to it. GM admitted to designing this car for Camaro enthusiasts hence the even worse visual blind spots to maintain the Camaro look. They claim that Camaro owner's would rather have blind spots than give up some of the standard Camaro body lines.

A: We are not ready to discuss specific timing, but can tell you we expect the first Camaros to arrive at dealers by the end of 2015.
Might as well wait for 2016 and call it a 2017 model year, GM dumbasses.

I have zero brand loyalty. I good car is a good car. The mustang has far better body lines and a much bolder style change for 2015. I like the hood lines and the led headlights on the new Camaro but the rear end looks horrendous. No trunk lid, terribly bland and subtle tail lights, and that spoiler looks like it came from a family sedan in the 90's. The problem with the design imo, GM designed the car based on what Camaro owners wanted, Ford designed the mustang to attract new customers while doing the best they could to please faithful mustang enthusiasts. I don't think they could have done much better.

I like the headlights but the back end and hood is terrible. This is a step back for sure. It looks like it's smiling from the front and ass end. Now Chevy will raise price so a cloth track pack will be in the 40's. My GT PP with cloth sticker was 35600

I was just thinking how sexy the ass of the '15 is. Seeing this new Camaro makes me appreciate it much more.
