Finally installed my front Caliperfexion kit I had purchased last year. My Powerstop Z26 Performance brake pads showed up today from American Muscle (cheapest price I found by far w/ free 2 day shipping).

I used some online forums for Caliperfexion installation advice but this video from Auto Fanatic was a great reference tool. Kudos to him for a sharing many videos on the GT350 platform.

Here is the Auto Fanatic Caliperfexion installation video.

Here you can see I still had a lot left on the OEM Ford pads, hopefully the Powerstop pads cut down on the dust as everyone claims.

I purchased the hardened steel stud kit because, as Autofanatic on IG and Youtube was quoted stating, the stainless bolts in aluminum knuckle with stainless hardware could pose a problem later on.

Removing the OEM bolts was definitely some work, that thread locker doesn't allow the bolts to come out easy. Again, Auto Fanatics YouTube video, he used a butane torch to heat up the bolts which loosens up the loctite for easier removal. I didn't have a butane torch and just wrenched on them slowly but surely they come out.

Taking 1 bolt and cutting a straight grove in it, it'll allow you to chase the threads in removing all the old factory loctite. This is a MUST, chase the threads with the cut OEM bolt at least 2 times. This will ensure the new Caliperfexion bolts thread in by hand.

I followed the instructions to a T, along with watching Autofanatics YouTube installation video for reference.

Here I had to remove some build up from the back side cross drilled holes in my front rotors.

I did opt to use the provided ARP assembly lube on my upper stud threads. Doing so, I torqued the nuts down to 90 ft lbs. If you use the dry (non assembly lube) it's 105 ft lbs.

I also have the Caliperfexion screw on extensions for ease of brake pad changes in the future.

I'm pumped to not only have this Caliperfexion kit installed but to hopefully have less dust covering my CF wheels this summer. 🤟🏼

I won't know for another couple months as we are just coming out of winter. My car is still in storage, from The sounds of it everybody says it does.

OPMustang only has the stainless steel options right now unfortunately. I've been eyeing these but I guess I'll wait for the heat treated ones to be back in stock.
