Going with an 18+ intake with a tune on a stock 15 GT PP. Do I have to get a 18+ CAI or 15-17?

If your intake is for 18+ I’m pretty sure you have to get the CAI for that model year since it attaches to the intake

I'm concerned about fitment in the engine compartment.

15-17 will fit but the 18+ will fit and flow better.

Hello!

When we have a 15-17 S550 purchasing a 1320 ported 18+ manifold, we suggest using an 18+ intake for fitment reasons.

Example, using:

for a 15-17 S550 with said 18+ manifold.

All 5.0 CAIs and intakes are interchangeable between the 15-17 and 18+ intakes. Even the GT350 is interchangeable in terms of fitment in the engine bay, but for that you need the matching TB or some sort of reducing coupler. But they all fit the same exact way in the engine bay and attach to the snorkel the same way.

OP you don't have to get the 18+ CAI, but you should as it's a better flowing unit for the same price.
