Burning too much oil!

I have a 2017 Mustang GT, noticed it was really low around 4600 miles, put a couple quarts in it, back to level, now, at 6400 it's low a couple quarts again. I haven't noticed any leakes anywhere, I drive aggressive here and there, wouldn't think that would burn that much oil.

Anyone else ever experienced this issue?

A couple of quarts that's a bit excessive for a Coyote.
Mine burned about half quart in the first 1500 miles then stayed there. I changed oil at 3000 miles and now it's 4000 not losing a single drop.
How did you break it in?
For me first 1000 miles no full throttle or higher than 4000 miles.
From 1000-2000 miles, full throttle is allowed but no redlining.
2000-3000 miles, redline and full throttle is allowed.
Once hit 3000 miles, change oil.
You wanna use all load situation. Don't abuse also don't baby it.
Also avoid long idle warming up. I start driving once cylinder head hits 100F.

Be careful..that 5.0 dipstick is tricky to read. I can only get a correct reading of mine if engine is cold. Now if I just changed oil and its cold I still have to wait sometime for a good solid oil mark on stick

I wait when the engine is cool enough. Strut brace and hot engine means hand burning.

I didn't drive too aggressive for the first thousand miles, checked out at a thousand, it was good. Slowly eased into aggressive driving here and there.

I thought so too on the excessive part. I didn't drive aggressive for the first 1k, then eased into it, driving a little faster here and there, I rarely redlined it at all, not until I had the GT350 IM installed, and that was last week, it's been eating oil a couple thousand miles before that install.

I'll try that in the AM, hopefully that's all it is, but I wouldn't think it would give a bunk reading while warm.

just for oil changes. it probably is burning too much oil as well. And is a little disappointing. Maybe I should inquire next time I am there. My car does get driven a bit harder than your average commuter. Not sure if that is a factor.

I had a similar problem with my 15 GT, even with a oil catch can it was still sucking down oil, increasingly worse after installing my boss manifold. Come to find out that Mobil 1 flows just like water at high RPMs, I even switched PCV valves to one out of the F150 EcoBoost motor Per Shawn at AED. I swapped motor oils Now using Valvoline 5w 30 full synthetic. I actually ended up putting a breather on the top of the oil catch can and plugged off the line hole on the intake manifold. No more oil consumption issues at least for now.

I burn zero. Even my catch can only has a fine mist in it after 1,000 miles.
