Build week 2/23/15

Hey, I don't actually recall seeing anyone on this thread that had a blend date other than 2/27! That seems weird. You guys know of blend dates this week NOT 2/27?? Meaning other than prior to Monday when some of 'had' different dates (me 2/23), but had them changed to 2/27.

I wonder if this week was scheduled light for catch up???

Today, Flat Rock workers are having a fun an focused day!

I will, and invite fellow 2/27'ers to, hold in mind that all the Mustang line workers, material control and quality control people feel inspired and are having a great day. That they are appreciative of each car that they get to contribute to. To feel a bit of the joy that each new owner will feel for the cars that they are working on today. The majority of Flat Rock workers are having one of their best days. Things just flow. Parts go together without issue. If something does not fit quite right, workers will take that extra moment to try to make it right. Most everyone at the Flat Rock MI Ford plant is simply going to have AN AWESOME DAY!
And so it is.

Dave's DI Blue V6 convertible is rollin' down the line today traveling through inspired hands. And so are Cueball's, Norton's, Markbnh1's, Drew's and everyone else's Mustangs! 2/27 blend cars are going to be excellent. :ford: :amen:

That's too funny Dave. I have nightmares about there being a big party last night. Everyone, including the robots, are hung over. Cars are slapped together without a second look and every torque is incorrect. ;-)

Mike, I feel your and the fellow 2/2 week folks frustration. Not easy to deal with by any stretch. I left a positive thought and wish for you guys over on the 2/2 thread as well. I truly hope you all receive your cars in exceelent quality, albeit very late. Best to all waiters.

I too have received a 2-27 build date. I am snowed in right now so i'm not being my usual impatient self. When the snow is melted i'll be back to normal for me.

Mine also says awaiting shipment as of this morning! I guess they really did build them yesterday. Oh oh......Friday cars!

Very glad to hear your Cotus status changed to awaiting shipment. As of now, my V6 convertible 051A is still showing 'In Production'.

Anyone else in this 2/23 build week have their status change to 'Awaiting Shipment'?

I don't know if my convertible V6 had different treatment yesterday, or the probably more likely Cotus hit or miss glitchiness. )


My last message from Rachel Yesterday mornig (8:00am PST) was:
"I'm showing that it's still scheduled to build today, although it hasn't gone through all the steps yet. I'll have a better idea next week; my tracker generally updates the info later in the day for the production process.

I'll take a peek on Monday for those orders.

I really can't give a time frame for expecting orders to switch statuses or ship out; it's dependent on too many factors. I'm always happy to check individual orders though. "

Due to the low percentage of convertible orders, I'd guess mine is the only one in this week (of forum members that is). I'd love to be wrong though.

Don't trust Cotus. It's not very accurate from what I've seen. Yeh, a convertible makes no sense here in New Hampshire. We would only get to drive it with the top down on July 4th. Ha ha ha. We have so much snow in my yard and driveway right now I don't know where I will park the Mustang! It's just crazy this year! :headbonk::headbonk:
