Build Week 2/2/15

Checked COTUS ... No movement, still in HOLD. Awaiting Shipment with no EDD. Talked to my dealer today. They said they spoke with "Someone from Ford " that says I will have my car by March 31st.... Can it be true?..... We'll see! Congrats to all those with their EDD's!! Glad to see these cars starting to move.

What is with the 02/05/15 built date seems that all the cars on hold where built that week? What is QC issue? isn't it the second run of production? My Birthday is on the 23th one can only hope.

Rhood, at this point the build date doesn't matter. All of our cars are in a separate storage area and depending on where yours is in the lot determines when yours is shipped out. At this point it's luck of the draw. I'm in the same boat as you.

How do you figure that? Just curious as to how you know the shipping routine...

Believe me I was close to canceling my order,buying a different color, driving far away for a car that that's not the one you ordered! I got my car yesterday and fuc- this car is awesome. Just wait your turn and it'll be worth every minute of it! Good luck hope everyone gets there cars soon

This is rediculous. Still no EDD. Waited 5 weeks just to get Released From the Plant and now there's no telling how long I'll have to wait for it to ship out. Our cars should have priority!!!

I'm so tired of this BULLSH!T! I'm going to look at a Challenger tomorrow.

So I picked up my Mustang GT PP from the dealer today. It had arrived a couple of days ago. Looks great; the only issue I saw was the passenger-seat leather being a little loose (not too bad, I just know what to look for now). I've seen that complaint elsewhere on the forum, and remember their dealer fixing it. I'm going to drop my car off Monday for them to take a look as a warranty item - I assume they will have it restitched or something.

Also, I'm hearing what I think is gear whine, from the posts I've seen; anyone else?

So not too bad. What's really interesting is that this isn't the car I ordered, so not actually part of the 2.2.2015 week hold, even though it is an identical spec. Evidently the dealership ordered a duplicate of mine a few weeks later and it was built 2.18.2015. My salesperson didn't know there were 2 cars and we had to redo the paperwork as I was walking out because they had the wrong VIN. Oh, and the original hold car showed up as we were walking out, that's the only reason they realized the VIN was wrong. Strange, but I got a newer car.

Got an EDD - March 25! Still awaiting shipment though - hallelujah! I think things are actually happening in the frozen tundra of Flat Rock. Don't give up - there is hope after all.

Just got my EDD! Showing 3/26... Hopefully it's here sooner. Just glad to finally have an EDD again. Can't wait for it to go In Transit. Hopefully everyone gets theirs soon!

By gear whine, I meant the MT-82 transmission. Searching that sub-forum, it looks like there have been posts on that. Curious how normal it is (don't want take this thread off-topic).

I hear you Stang Nut. I'm getting fed up with this waiting and not knowing anything. Still no EDD for me. Not even released yet. :tsk:

Just got my EDD. 3/24. Seems VERY optimistic. If it's not in transit by this weekend I'll go look at that Challenger.
