Woah, I wish I knew why we are seeing a month to a two month hold on the vehicles.
We don't yet see anything more than about a month at this point (25 days to be exact). The other guy above you saying 2 months is speculating - and he's including delivery time, not two months of "holding".

Some cars built week of 2/2 are finally moving. Mine is one in fact. Started moving yesterday, updated EDD yesterday, and again today (1 day sooner). I would love to know everything just like everyone else who was affected by this hold, but we never will.

I also have to think that if they held the cars for a month - someone put additional eyes on them to check out whatever issue there might have been and corrected it if needed. That's a good thing.

The truth is I was told 6 to 8 weeks when I ordered, and even though it would have been shorter without this hold it will still be just under 8 weeks if my updated EDD is close to accurate. That doesn't make the wait easier, but it helps keep it in perspective.

Hang in there if you can!

Just got an email from Rachel. My convertible (2/10) will be be held 'in Production' for at least another week. I don't think that most of the 4,000 'held' Mustangs are going to leave Flat Rock until mid-to-late March. That will give them two months to figure out what Ford is going to do. So I guess the weather will be warming up enough to drop the top when it gets here (MN).
Yikes. Not sure if I should just grab one off the lot here in Houston since there's a ton or wait it out. End of March EDD would make me seriously consider it.

Well as some of you know our build week is beginning to be released... I heard from my dealer today who has confirmed the fact that there was a QC hold which only affected one or two cars. He said it took a week and a half to go through the hold and they are beginning to ship them out. The other part of the issue is a weather delay due to the inclement weather in the NE which is causing rail cars to be stuck and not be able to get back to the plant.

Sadly, I do not have any movement on my car but there is hope. I was also told that more rail cars are supposed to be getting back to the plant next week and we should see more movement. He speculated that we would see our cars before the end of March.

Hopefully we are all driving our Mustangs soon.

I'm really hoping for some better March incentives to make all of this a little better

I paid for my car on 2-07-15 because I didn't want to run my credit again. It's still on hold. Dealer should be able to do paperwork as long as you have vin.

No. I was preapproved in December for a car In stock. i then decided to order a car. My preapproved ended on feb 7 so i decided to just pay for the car then instead of rerun my credit in 7 days when my car original Edd was 2-14.

I'm far from a novice. I would not let them run my credit to order. Matter of fact my $39,620 msrp was negotiated to $500 below invoice plus $1250 in rebates. My price for the car was $35,500 for premium performance pack.
