Build Week 2/2/15

Did she actually say 4,000 or you just stating a large number for effect?

I can't believe they build 4,000 Mustangs in a week.

I was told they build 680 a day, that puts it at 3,400 for the week of 2/2 plus an additional 680 (4080) by Monday the 9th, which is where the hold was. 2/2 - 2/9.

Edit: That 680/day might include Fusions.

I was a 2/9 production hold and my vehicle is already in transit. So I wouldnt expect April deliveries... Mid-March at most.

You have to think about it from a companies point of view , you cannot have almost 1million+$ in inventory sitting around to long , althought the company's reputation is at stake im sure they dont want them taking up space , and all that i know is "heat shield" hopefully i can get more clear answers , i might get crazy enough and drive up to flat rock , i only live 25 minutes away from the plant

So me and my buddy just got back , honestly big waste of time , caint really see anything , huge lot of parked mustangs , no movement just workers coming and going , couldn't really talk to anyone either , security is tight over there

It is beyond belief that someone from Ford would not come out and give us some info and when we should expect delivery.
Not asking a lot for 40k

I got some good news from my dealer today, he has multiple cars with the 2/2-2/9 build dates. He said that the ones build on 2/3 have been released and loaded on to a train this am. At Least they are shipping the cars from our build week.

As I stated in a previous post,QC had to be aware of this problem early in the build week. I say this because cars are usually released to awaiting shipment the same day or the next day after build. That did not happen with this build week. Looks to me that Ford had to know early on & decided to build a week of producing problem cars.



Now, what scares the HELL out of me :
