Looking to make around 850-950whp

TVS car, e85 ect: Im already around 750+whp

I realize some are making my goal power level on the stock engine
but I want to see what route you guys might take,
Considering I could buy a built short block and sell my good engine and
get back a chunck of the cost.

Build stock block? (Piston and rod)
Buy new short block build?
Short block build, Sleeved?

Thanks for input :ford:

For that kind of power, I would go with a sleeved block.

It's going to be alot quicker to buy an already built block and just swap yours out to then sell rather than taking it out, shipping it to get built etc. But it would probably be more money and you have to deal with the hassle of trying to sell your stock one.

So if you have the time, I would send yours in to be sleeved and built. Otherwise just get a new one and swap on the spot.

Factory block with Manley H beam rods and Forged Pistons will be reliable for 1000HP, Something like our 1000 series will be just fine for you. They have many upgrade options and will be on sale for the black friday sale for just $3699!!!!! More info on the shortblock here:

http://www.modularmotorsportsracing...page=product_info&cPath=23_62&products_id=614

For 1500HP and under the MMR 1500 series is what you will need, they feature thick sleeves, Billet steel rods (compared to forged steel) and some other nice standard options such as ARP main studs.

Feel free to call anytime to discuss your needs!
