My older brother, the massive fanboy who worships anything VW put out and utters "German engineering" every other syllable, had to begrudgingly admit the Mustang was the better car for me.


This is how it went down:

We're in the pub having lunch with the family. He pulled up a picture of a BMW 335i M-Sport is Estoril Blue and an Audi S5 on his phone (two other cars I considered before ordering the Mustang). I pulled up a picture on my phone of the one I ordered (black GT with PP wheels).

He looked at the Germans, then back to the Mustang, then back and forth and back and forth before finally putting his phone down on the table.

He pointed a finger at the Mustang and said "I'll admit, that's really nice, and it'll be something different and new [in the UK.]"

I responded "Did you just say the American car is the better car?"

He just flipped me the bird and drank his pint. :lol:

Exact same thing has happened to me at the bank drivethrough. Twice from 2 different tellers.....One of them asked, "So you got your new car. What did you get the wife"? I said...We share it......But I get it more than she does.....
