Breaking necks/compliments

The last two people I've shown the car were very complimentary, but both were most impressed that it had a manual transmission. I think the quote was "you did it right".

I've gotten quite a few compliments on the car. People are always rubber necking at it, especially at malls and places where they're walking. Some kids in town hollered the other day and said, "Nice car." A woman on the interstate said she hearted my car, acted like she was fanning herself, and then flashed her tits. I was like, hmmm, that doesn't happen in the Fusion. Lol

I took the car to the dealer yesterday for the replacement of the upper passenger door panel. It had a small cut in the top. When I picked it up today the service manager, the body shop manager, my salesman & one of the wrenches from the service dept. were admiring the car. The service manager asked if I was bringing it to the all Fords show in August. It is a great show, usually about 250 to 300 cars. He loved the job Evolution Performance did with the Procharger install. He said when you lift the hood it just looks like it was born there. It feels good when the people that see these cars every day feel that yours is done right and is really nice. Thanks Freehold Ford.

I get a lot of people who like to ride beside me and stare, give thumbs up and one guy yelled "hell yea, boy!" He was a light over from me also. :lol: One specific time i remember was when a guy and his family riding in a lifted truck pulled up next to me at a light. They guy leaned out (both of our windows were already down) and asked me if it was a '15. I replied, "yes" and said i really like it. He then asked if it was a standard or auto. I was kind of thrown off for a sec, i havent heard anyone call it "standard" in years, maybe ever. So i replied, "yes, it is a manual." He just smiled and said "nice!"

My 2009 mustang was getting compliments all the way through 2015 when I got my new one. The new one is picking up where the old one left off. Feels good when those compliments come in

I have received all of the above and then some. My best one I think was two weekends ago driving down Miami Beach, I spotted an CO Ecoboost in on coming traffic, as I slowly approach I realized that he is stopped blocking traffic with his phone hanging out the window take a picture as I was approaching. Not but two minutes later he pulls up to a light next to me motioning to lower my window. We had a quick chit chat about the S550 and went on our way, I was heading back home already.

I also return the neck breaking to any fellow S550 I see on the street.

I get compliments and people breaking their necks all the time. funniest so far.. a little boy asks his dad "dad is that a racecar?" and I'm on the hwy in stop and go traffic, black guy with his GF are right beside me in a big 4dr with some donks on it rolls down his window, sticks his head out of his car looks my car up and down and front to back, looks at me and says "that car is..... that car is just...... you KNOW WTF it is" I was LOL'ing.

I had a similar situation. Thus guy was in an early 2000's Benz tho. We were both exiting (or trying) a car wash after cleaning up our rides. He blocks the exit, rolls down his window and starts asking me what kind of car it is and saying it's "bad as fuck, etc." Lol. The high pitch in his gangsta voice is what had me grinning so damn big tho.

Had a dude pull up in Costco parking lot and ask how we like it, he was a super nice guy. We must have had a 10 minute chat about mustangs. He ordered a DIB 2015 Mustang that has been built but not delivered. Really nice guy with a good attitude.

The only negative thing is often prius or economy car drivers intentionally make dangerous moves to cut us off and drive slow intentionally. That or you have a minivan driver trying to race, engine revving high while he goes nowhere. The whole time I'm just trying to break the damn car in.

I was on my way to my brother's house, and while at the stop light, this dude in a Monte Carlo pokes his head out his sunroof and yells from the turning lane, "HEY!! I LOVE YOUR MUSTANG!!!!". I was flattered, but very frightened.

I was sitting in line at my son's high school waiting to pick him up when a woman and her daughter pulled up beside me in a Mercedes SUV and asked me if my Mustang was a Porsche I replied no ma'am it's a Mustang and her daughter busted out laughing and told her mother I told you it was.
