Yesterday I had the most incredible experience to date.

I was cruising down the highway at about 100kph. Some white minivan passes me, in the lane left of me. The guys in the front were all excited, giving me thumbs up and everything. So far, nothing really special, as this happens to me on a regular basis.

The van kept driving on the left lane, just ahead of me and after a while, we hit a 120kph sign and they were not actually speeding up. As it is illegal to overtake on the right-hand side here, I just fel back a bit , so I could pass around the back and overtake them on their left.

To my great surprise the guy in the passenger seat leans out of the van with his entire upper torso to take pictures of the front of my car with his cellphone! I was like, what the hell!? I did stay in the right lane and let him do his thing... but man, seriously. To pull a stunt like that while doing a 100kph? For a bloomin' pic of my car?

Seriously? Passing on the right here in the States isn't illegal in most states, but it's generally frowned upon. That said, if the left lane hogger doesn't speed up, and you pass him just by staying in your lane... then that shouldn't count as passing on the right.

All I'm saying, is if I'm minding my own business cruising at the legal speed limit, I shouldn't be forced to slow down for a slowpoke in the left lane.

Anyway, I broke my own neck a few days ago. LOL. Was driving to work, and saw behind me a DIB GT merge on the highway. He sped up to drive beside me for a little while, then took off. And while I own an s550, I rarely see another one drive around. Damn it looked good.

But damn, DIB is good looking. DIB was actually the color I was going to get, but there weren't a whole lot of them around in dealer lots with the options I wanted.

When I was driving mine home, at the first gas station I stopped, a Focus pulled up beside me while I was messing around in the trunk. The guy yelled at me, "Man, that's a freaking awesome car." I thanked him and moved along.

I pulled into a rest station a few hours later and, while still in the car, a guy was pulling around the other side in a Dodge pickup truck. He honked and waved, then gave me thumbs up.

Then there's the constant racing challenges and whatnot. I just laugh and keep on driving.

I also passed a car with a couple of cute girls in it during the drive. I didn't notice, but my gf said they both broke their necks looking. She also may have muttered, "Step off, b****." Hahahaha.

Feels weird. I've never had a car attract attention before.

Went to Wally World today, in the parking lot was a 2015 Ruby Red Roush stage 2. The man and woman were putting there stuff in the trunk when we went by the end of the row he was on, about 8-10 parking spaces away. He pulled his head out of the trunk, stood up straight and just watched us go by.:D Nice to get noticed:headbang:
The guys at the local Precision Tune by our Sam's Club always wave when I go by headed into Sam's parking lot, like I said it's nice to get noticed.

Had an older gentleman (early 50's) compliment the color last night - "That's a gorgeous shade of blue" and I returned the gesture by complimenting his C7. He turned it on and gave it a rev with what sounded like the stock exhaust. I lol'd and gave him a thumbs-up before throwing a few revs back at him.

I was parked at a pump at a Sheetz Saturday night waiting to meet someone. My windows are 5% tint, so they are pretty dark, almost to the point to where you can't even see if someone's inside from looking through the front windshield. I had a young kid (Probably 11-12) taking pictures from all angles while his sisters (8-9) were grabbing their heart saying "Whoa! What a car!" Later a couple guys walked up and were looking at it wondering how I can drive it so low (I was aired out). The kids pretty much made my evening as it reminded me of when I was younger.

The whole time I don't think anyone knew I was in the car lol.

I just left Grismer Tire from getting my tires balanced, rotated, and an alignment done. As I was paying, the tech asked me what kind of exhaust I had. I told him it was MAPerformance resonated version. He says "wow man, it sounds awesome. I had to double check the paperwork because it sounds like a V8." The manager then says "it does sound really tough for a 4 cylinder. If you went by me on the street I wouldn't have thought that was an Ecoboost Mustang." I ain't making this shit up. I told them both thank you very much for the compliments, that means a lot since I just had the catback put on Saturday night. Now, I'm not saying it sounds anything like a GT at all, no comparison. But it does sound fckn good! :headbang:

Only compliments I've gotten so far is from all the ladies at work.
"badass car", "beautiful mustang", "love the wheels".. etc
One of the accounting lady told me that her very first car ever was a black Mustang. So I threw her the keyfob and told her to take it for a spin during lunch, I knew it was in good hands since she DDs a manual car.
My 10 year old nephew sure thinks it's cool and wants to ride in it every chance he gets.

Had a really weird guy walking his dog come up to me while I was waiting for someone. Started with compliments on how beautiful it is, then kept talking about how he spun out in his friends 5.0 in the slightest rain all while standing in the middle of the street with cars driving by. Thought his dog was going to get run over.

Had the security guard at the base gate stop and ask me what kind of car this was, and then what model. Said it was sharp, and just kept staring at it.
