The engine would probably benefit with a bit of a harder break in but the rear end, transmission, clutch, flywheel, etc could use a more delicate one. I think it was at least 10k miles before my rear end stopped clunking going into first.

Everyone has their own opinion, which cannot be confused with facts. If you haven't built or raced cars, stick with the owners manual. For me I didn't follow the manual. I've raced, built engine my hole life. I varied throttle RPM for the first 200 miles, after that I was doing on and off WOT runs for the next 100 miles. That's what I did. No issues, runs great. But this is my car not yours. You need to make these decisions. Good luck

You should break in a engine the way you intended to use it. So just drive it like normal

There are various opinions as to how hard you should or should not drive it, but one thing's for sure - avoid driving constantly for a long time. Doing hundreds of highway miles on cruise control is an absolute no-no.

Bed the brakes ! You will have stopping issues otherwise. Also, you will live with noisy pads. My ex wife sounded like brake squeal ........................
