I am looking to upgrade my brake rotors to either slotted or drilled/slotted for astatic purposes only and move to ceramic pads to cut down on the dust. Does anyone have a brand they have used that they are happy with? Again, I am not asking about performance (I don't plan to track car, just spirited fun drives) but just a recommendation of a quality rotor and ceramic pad. One final thing, I am looking to buy the black zinc coated as I like the way it looks with the back wheels I just mounted. I have had luck with R1 concepts in the past. Thanks!

I've had good luck with this company for rotors. Supposedly USA made and they guarantee the drilled rotors not to crack.
I was looking at this company, almost seemed to good to be true based on price and USA made. Did you personally put these on your S550 Mustang and if so, do you have any pics??

Sorry no pics as I took them off and went with steeda's 2 piece rotors.
I did track them once and had no complaints, just wanted to lose some unsprung weight.
They must have been smoking crack to make such a statement
It's right there on their website.

Not doubting you, just that cross drilled rotors in sever duty usage, will develop cracks… period

The black coating will wear off almost instantly, exposing the bare Iron underneath. Forget drilled rotors, they will just crack at the holes. Go with a slotted rotor or just a blank. I too have Z26 pads. For street driving they are great. decent pedal feel and bite, while not dusting nearly as much as OEM or other semi-metallic pads. I had the Gloc autocross pads on for a little while, but got tired of cleaning the wheels at every stop. The bite and stopping power was very impressive though.

It says "Machined by us in the USA" so they drill the holes or slot or both, but I imagine the blanks are made in China.
The ones I got were quality rotors. 4 20 minuet sessions at NCM and no cracks. They were balanced, I just have a thing for 2 piece rotors or I'd still have them on. I might put them back on and finish off my Hawk pads.

Did Powerstop on my 15’ for looks, no issues and did Steeda on the M1 for weight savings & tracking

EDIT: pretty sure the pads on the 15’ were Z23… pads on the M1 are currently Z26 but will swap for track sessions, also the Z23 & Z26 are identical pad material only difference is the backing, Z26 has a rubber material

EDIT: I’m wrong on my above statement, Z23 have the rubber backing/shim (which is what I have) Z26 have the stainless backing/shim
