I’m getting ready to put some performance rotors on my Mach 1. What are the best brake pads if you were changing them out? And does the Mach 1 have stainless brake lines?

I run steeda two piece rotors and I swapped into Steeda's stainless steel lines. The stock lines must be pretty good because the difference is negligble. I have DTC pads but they are for the track... street pads I'm not sure but I know DTC does offer them. Heard good things about GLOC track pads but don't know about their street stuff. GLOC pads come pre bedded to that's nice...

Z26 Powerstop pads are what I run. My antilock brake module works a lot harder now. Using the Steeda 2 piece rotors with those pads.

I use the Giro 2 piece rotors and DS1.11 pads in front. I do track my car and these pads are aggressive for street driving. But I manage them okay.

I got a set of G-Loc R8 pads for my rear brakes. I currently use DS1.11 for the front. I see that the G-Loc pads have no notches on them. No center notch to slide within the caliper piston groove and no notches to accept heat backing plates. I'm concerned that without having those backing plates that the heat would transfer more so into the calipers. Those who use G-Loc on their rear's, can you advise your experience especially if you track your Mach1.

Edit> I got a reply from Opt Perf -> G-Loc as is. No shields.
