Call the dealer or send Fordservice a message. They need to repair that.

Yeah, I'm going to try. I just have the feeling that nothing is going to happen since technically it was my responsibility to find anything. I was going over the car at the dealership and the salesman laughed and assured me that there are no dents or scratches. They got me, the first time car buyer, I guess..

Well, I managed to find a dent on the bottom of the left door after using a flashlight to look at the engine bay.
...
Congratulations, Bay1Stang; welcome to the Ford Family! :ford:

Have you spoken with your dealer yet about the dent? I'm here to help; please send me your full name, best contact number, VIN, mileage, and dealer info.

Thanks to you I have an appointment to have the dent fixed tomorrow, so that's greatly appreciated.

However, I'm at 125 miles and my check engine light is already on! I'm so stressed out now.

You're welcome, Bay1Stang.

Make sure let your dealer know about the light as well; I've also passed this information up the chain.

Congrats, buddy!

Even the V6 versions of this car are fast, and of course look the same so they're stylish as hell...
plus you have that new IRS and the 3.55 years so this is quite the performance V6!

Calm down bud, that's what warranties are for, the best part of having a new car. If it were used, you'd probably be getting ready to eat whatever caused that light. I'm sure it's no big deal.

Rachel - thanks again so much for all your help. I'm very impressed with Ford customer service already.

To update my situation, everything is fixed and should be good to go! With Rachel's help the dealer took care of the dent and the engine light was on because the car needed to be "reprogrammed".

In any case, I'm finally ready to relax and start enjoying this thing... thanks everybody. :ford:
