Its not just looking at logs, its making adjustments and giving you any advise or suggestions. You're seeing this superficially and complaining, its fine, being boosted it not for all, thats why people end up with blown motors 2 weeks into their boost experience. I recently made a change that jacked my fuel trims, we went thru 3 revisions to get them back to normal. I still have 5 more months of log reviews if I feel something is off or I need something different in the tune.

Also maybe you misunderstand. You dont have to pay him $150 every 6 months. You just pay $150 for a 6 month review window. If you tuned your car last summer and its been good for 18 months and now you're going to start tracking it, you pay him $150 to cover you from now for the next 6 months. If 6 months from now you're good and dont need to send logs in you simply dont renew. You renew it ONLY when you need to.
