Boomba Transmission Mount

Just installed one of these in blue along with the BMR MM007s and wow what a difference! Totally transforms the car into something else. Absolutely no slop and shifts are much more accurate. With all 3 power mounts installed, power delivery and throttle response is much better. You can definitely feel you are no longer losing power through sloppy mounts. Everything feels very visceral as a sports car should. The NVH that is added is very welcome as it sounds like I have an exhaust on the inside without attracting unwanted attention outside the vehicle. This mod is definitely best paired with any poly motor mount kit of your choice. :cheers:

I tried the steeda bushing insert and the added nvh was ridiculous. Definitely not what I expected. I might give this a shot though. I hate the drive train slop.

Just Bought the Boomba Street Version Transmission Mount along with the Shifter Assembly Bracket. I'm really anal and need to know the correct toque for all the nuts and bolts so they can be put together to the correct specs. I also read somewhere that the use of Blue Loctite will help it stay together. Thanks for the help with the research.

What size is the bolt? I know they're 8.8 grade, but I don't remember the size.

I can give you the recommended torque for that bolt.

I have the transmission and the shifter mount waiting to install once I know the correct torque specs. Come on many of you installed them and I remember reading someone doing the torque specs, but can't find it.
