I have not seen or heard of a 15' driveshaft failing yet. Anyone else?
Me either, stock or aftermarket. I know there were issues with some aftermarket ones years ago.

Important Notes

1. Don't forget to remove the Diff vent line and reinstall when done.
2. In hind site I wish I would have put the front Diff bolts through from the back. Now when I go to put my 3.73s in I will cut the head of the bolt off ** and pull it out from inside. I'll cut less than a 1/4" off of the new bolt and 45° the end to have ample clearance on the gas tank, as I will be putting it in from the opposite direction for future gears (4.10s :)) . This is so you can drop the Diff out without touching the Cradle to body fasteners.**I'll use a Sawzall, so no sparks will be generated.

I am upgrading mine simply for the loss in rotating mass.

I've broken two stock ones on the 15s, right in middle carrier.

All done and a test drive to Watson Racing

I buttoned up the DSS shaft & BMR bushing install and gave her a 200 mile test drive to Watson Racing to get my carbon fiber hood! I'm sure everyone knows you will pic up gear music (some call it noise) when you go to solid mount bushings, for me it gave me memories of my Fox Body days of 4.88s and solid aluminum bushings...I felt right at home :).

Looks good man! Would you mind getting a picture from the driver's seat of the hood? Curious how it affects visibility.

Thanks!
