Blue stripes on white ?

Would it be against the Mustang God’s that I put on two solid saphire blue stripes on my white 2009 Stang coupe ? Not trying to fool anybody, just like the looks and color . It adds something to a plain white car…

I personally prefer white with some kind of decal or stripe as it looks boring to me on most cars by itself.

Not sure if the top car is yours or not but id definitely pull off the black side ones if I did the blue over the top. Id also make sure it goes from bumber to bumper not just hood,roof and trunk lid. Needs to go the whole way.

Personally, I would use blue over the top and blue side stripes. Very sharp.

Look at my pfp and that should tell you my view. I will say I one time did have someone claim I had a fake GT350, but I told them the truth, I just like the color combo. My cars badging and bumpers are 5.0 and not at all deceptive as to the fact it’s a humble GT. Stripes are just one of those things people do on Mustangs so at the end of the day. With the exception of a few tight wads most people aren’t gonna think you’re faking anything. It’s not like you’re doing a bumper swap that resembles a higher trim (which I am personally not comfortable with but to each their own).

I think almost any blue would look great, Jim and I agree with the sentiment that white can be pretty boring without some contrast. But as so many have said, do what YOU want because NO ONE will look at her more than you. <smile>

Definetly. Blue stripes on white mustangs is classic.

I think bumper stripes are a bit too much, makes it look more like a boss when it’s not, but, appreciate your input too, keep on burnin !!
