Best way to launch supercharged automatic

pulling fuse 62 doesnt work.. and you lose power steering.

Today I spoke to several dealers, Ford performance and Roush and I am totally dumbfounded that nobody could explain the traction control, advance trac and the D and S locations for the shift lever. Let alone the drive modes. Somebody has to know how to best use them for different situations.

Stock automatic with 7-8lbs of boost plus a Lund tune put me in the high 10's first trip to the track. I have been faster in the 1/8th than I was when I went 10.9. I think it will go 10.7 easy in better air

The Roush tune is just way too conservative. It barely pushes stock parameters because it tries to remain well within safe stock limits.

Leave it in D, place in sport + for firmer shifts and quicker throttle response, then hold TC up until dash reads "Advance track off" and release it. Then just wait till the last yellow and launch. Stop making such a big deal about this.

I found this thread and just learned this. If you shift into sport mode then double tap the traction button twice it gout into advance sport mode. It shifts different it lets it spin a bit and launches hard out of the hole. My car is a 21 premium 10r80 with roush stage 2 charger. It hardly spins and at about 60 when its able it really lays down the power. Try this it blew me away
