If you want a basic stock replacement Sam's club sells Duracell for $99. It also has 3yr free replacement and is supposedly made in the US.

I honestly would keep it stock
Antigravity is what i run. Lithium battery are ok but not optimal for daily.

A standard battery is 35lbs ish.
Antigravity ATX20HD (what i use) is 5lbs.
ATX30HD is what i would use for a more daily situation. (7lbs but more energy)
A lithium batter has less Amp to work with so. You can't run 50 min the stereo or keep light up for long time. It just drain faster.
Don't get me wrong. Is an awesome product and im the worst worst case scenario you just charge them a little :)
But they ain't cheap.
And if you just daily the car there is not really a need to spend all that money.
However take a look on their website cause they have other cheaper normal battery option!

OEM equivalent battery. It's just a battery.

Weight. I would not buy one for a daily driving, makes zero sense and car's BMS doesn't really charge them as it should (I had one discharge on me to the point I was unable to start the car and have the automotive version of it, not the ATXxx). Like poster said - buy whatever in OEM size. Ford OEMs are pretty terrible, I just replaced OEM on the truck that died after 3.5 years.

Agreed. Lead acid is fine, it's in some ways better for this application because they deal with high temperatures a bit better than other methods.

I also have a suspicion that batteries will never last that long on these cars with the amount of amp draw they have at any given time. I mean just going near the car wakes up all sorts of modules, and if you open the door it starts adjusting the intake runners and all kinds of shit to get ready to start.

I'ma say this again..gotta try Odessey.. I had one in my 3rd gen Firebird that was 7 years old and still working when I sold the car. I'll be buying one once my warranty is up for the stang. Only bad thing about agm batteries is the weight. But it wont leave you stranded or risk a fire from a lithium battery. Just gotta pick your poison. No suggestion so far has been a bad one.
