Unbelievable, dealer called and said they have to get Ford's advise, and my car will be there until at least Friday. OMG

Yep. I just unplugged mine and taped the ends.Ok, so I see 2 of them. Can I just unplug both and go??
I can see the part above near the fuse box under the hood, but where is the other one located?Yep. I just unplugged mine and taped the ends.
Easy enough. Voltage at 14.4 and holding. I will drive it a few days before I tape up in case wanting to plug it back in. Not likely. Lol.Yep. I just unplugged mine and taped the ends.

I think the dealer may try to blame me for shorting out the sensor.. if so no warranty. If that happens I'll just get my car back and unplug...….Unbelievable, dealer called and said they have to get Ford's advise, and my car will be there until at least Friday. OMG

Got my car back from the dealer... But they haven't heard back from Ford, he said they will call me when they hear anything.Mines running great and have 14.1-14.6 volts consistently.
Both. You need to put 3-4 key cycles on it. You may also have battery on it’s way out. This afternoon I disconnected the negative cable sensor to test all of this. Idling I get 13.3V if I disconnect both, nothing changes at idle. Before I disconnected the sensors it was showing 12.7V. On you guys getting 14+V is that while driving or at idle or both?
Ah, okay. I only tried it twice. I will keep an eye on it tomorrow and see what happens. This is the battery....Both. You need to put 3-4 key cycles on it. You may also have battery on it’s way out.
