Battery / alternator / charging system problems???

So for a month or two now I've had the periodic message of service charging system constantly coming up on the dash. Recently now when I start the car my sync screen says "system off to save battery". After arguing with the dealer they said they'll try to replace my alternator.

However, could my battery just be bad? When I drove to work today I ran the battery monitor pids from my obd connector. Not sure if anyone can tell anything from this...the first dial (amps) started at 8 and ended up to 1. I also have the system low voltage error code stored.

Im dealing with the same problem for the last couple of months. tested the battery it was good but sometimes it would not want to start in the morning. Got new battery terminals still the same problem. tried remounted the battery terminals still same out come. After jumping it for almost a month i replaced the battery. next im going to test the alternator but i dont think thats it because sometimes it starts right up. battery gauge goes from 12.3-14.5 volts. im thinking it might be a relay problem, maybe a short somewhere. im off tomorrow so i will be working on this. Is anyone else having similar problems

I have had system off to save battery for the past three months but no issues starting up. The battery management system is complete trash.

If it is the OEM battery it could be bad though.

I had the same problem with the factory battery within the first year. I replaced it with a yellow top and haven't had any issues since.
