I am asking for people who are pump 93 700whp who have/are running a BAP on stock fuel pump/regulator. Any fuel flow/supply or reliability, longevity issues?. Thank you for your help

Did your tuner suggest putting two BAPs on your fuel system?

i ran one for years on pump and 110 leased before i swapped over to a full fuel system. During that time i didn’t have any issues at all and that power level will be fine. If you’re worried just ask your tuner as to what their seeing about fuel on their side but you should be gtg.

Thanks. Consensus is. People have no issues running them, reliable and provide enough fuel for that hp range. Thank you

GT350 comes with 2 pumps, that’s the reason for 2 BAP

Stock gen 2 stage 2 whipple tune made 786 whp at 7600 rpm with 93+octane booster with stock fuel pump, no BAP, and 3.625 pulley. DW 72 lb injectors were at 87% duty cycle at 7600 rpm.
I lost that motor from a snapped crankshaft, but otherwise motor/tune ran fine other than destroying stock and kooks high flow cats (non green).

My car made 700rwhp on 10lbs of boost and 91oct with the stock Roush Phase 1 fuel system, which I believe is just larger injectors, no BAP.

We've ran a BAP on countless applications (typically prior to us finalizing a fuel system) and we've yet to burn out a pump. 700whp through an 18+ on 93 using a BAP/ID1050x/DW95/etc is absolutely possible. I would say this is the top-end of where the car should be without a change of octane and with that, likely further fuel system alterations.

Sorry to hear about your engine. Did you figure out what caused the break?

1st engine was a crankshaft failure. It did have an ATI balancer and OPG/CS installed several thousand miles prior. Perhaps the balancer wasn't put on/honed correctly? Really don't know for sure as there has been several whipple, procharger, and ESS cars that were otherwise stock have crankshaft failures as well.

Mine happened while cruising in 6th gear around 70 mph, clutched in to down shift into 5th as approaching highway exit, and as soon as 5th gear engaged all the lights came on the dash and I hear the thudding from engine bay.

I replaced that motor with an aluminator, had PBD tune it for the the same 93/boostane blend I was running on whipple tune, but for a 3.5 pulley, 95 lb injectors, and BAP. Car made 819 whp, went 138 mph at 4120 lbs, but ended up having ringland failure from undetected knock.

I had the aluminator rebuilt and now run a conservative 630-650whp on 93, and 750-800whp when running over 75% ethanol.

Although I had gotten away with it for a long time as well as many others, I'd never run more than the 650 whp now on pump gas, even with octane booster. I'd also never relay on octane booster to make a HP number. Rather, I'd run race gas like MS109 or Sunoco 260 GT plus or run ethanol if a return style system is within budget.

Honestly I have more fun on the street in the 600s then when I'm making 800. More usable power and less interference from traction control.

Man, you have went through alot. I do agree, I want Fun, Street Driven Torque. I will admit, power and Speed are very addictive. I had quite a few friends die because of that addiction, and same addiction almost took me. If one survives you definitely will not have the same life as you had before. Thanks for all of your insight and passing on your experiences. It does help others. Later.
