Is there nobody out there running the K2 BAP? It's sold and recommended by PBD, but I was hoping to hear from someone with real world experience with it before committing.

I'll probably pick one up here in the next day or two. Trust the tuner...

I haven't heard of many failures on any BAP tbh. @Zrussian13 took most of them.

I wouldn't worry too much about a tuners preferred setup. They will be familiar with any nuances of getting it to run well. The technology for this application is over 20years old too. Should be reliable regardless of brand.

Agreed. I googles it on multiple platforms when I went through my first issue and I couldn't find any other failures either. I got real unlucky I guess. And my bap itself doesn't appear to have been the issue. It seemed everything was related to the wiring harness. That's why I made the switch to vmp. Much simpler set up. I would rather not have my pump consistently boosted but so far so good.

That's why I'm leaning towards the recommended K2 versus the JMS for now - to eliminate the possibile points of failure. And hope the fuel pump handles constant voltage, albeit at only 19V versus 22V max on the JMS.

My only concern with the K2 is 19v seems high for constant voltage. Most boost to 18v constantly. I know it doesn't seem like much but I'd probably lean towards one that boosts to 18 like vmp or lethal's bap. Maybe it doesnt matter? Not sure why K2 felt it necessary to go higher. Personally If I needed more that 18v I'd go with a fuel system instead.

I think that's a valid point and one that I'll ask about, for sure. I'm no electrical expert by any means and not sure how much difference that 1V will make.
