Just recently started seeing this condensation build up in my drivers side headlight.

Anyway to alleviate this without replacing the whole headlight and therefore removing the bumper, or no? Would rather not have to remove the whole thing if I didn't have to.

The headlight should be removable without taking the bumper off.

Is it? Seems like every video I see shows them having to take the entire bumper off to get the headlight assembly out. Got any references/videos I can follow?

iirc the mounting bolts for the headlight are behind the bumper mount so yeah it's bumper off time. That is some amount of condensation almost pointing towards a leak of some sort :(

Ugh, that's what I figured. Pain in the ass. I'm wondering how that even happened.

Was hoping there was some non-intrusive solution, like drilling a small hole even to vent it out, but maybe that's not possible.

don't all external lights nowadays have vent holes in them anyway ?
That's what I was thinking too - I thought there were vents/not sealed nowadays, so wouldn't a crack not even do this? Just strange.

Some condensation is normal.

If you're washing with warm water in cold conditions, that much condensation might happen.

It clears up.

This has been like this constant for, at least, 2-3 weeks now. I didn't wash it in that time period either.

I was waiting too for the clear up period to happen, and it just never did.

Are you driving it with the lights on?

I have a few times, yes. Obviously the DRL are always on, but yeah I've driven at night a few times since I've seen the condensation. Hasn't helped.

Just bite the bullet. Taking the bumper off is only intimidating the first time. Once you've done it its really nothing to be reluctant about.

On models prior to 2018 be really careful with those bumper to fender clips. They break easy. For 2018 and up, the design was changed and is much more robust and easier to work with.

I've actually already taken off the bumper. I put on a GT500 bumper LOL. That's why I'm so reluctant to do it again - it's a bit of a pain (at least for me) to get underneath the car and take the splash guard off and deal with all those clips.
