Does anyone have any pictures of the sensor behind the rear view mirror of the wiper sensor? I have looked all over the internet and can't find out how big it is. Just curious if it is a big box hanging below the rear view mirror stuck to the windshield.

Does anyone have any comments on how well the automatic wipers work? My 2016 is coming with this and I am just curious.

Odds are you will never notice it. I have had Fords in the past with this feature and you can't really tell from the outside, nor from the inside as it is hidden from your view behind the rear view mirror. It's shaped as a somewhat large 'foot' holding your mirror against the windshield. If you look closely from the ouside you can see the sensor(s) in there. Both for the wipers and the automatic headlights.

It's hidden completely inside the black sunshade built into the windshield around the rearview mirror.

My wife's Flex has it. You'll never notice it and will love the option.
