Most race cars excluding NASCARs don’t have a clutch pedal.

You'd be surprised. Formula 1, while it doesn't have a clutch pedal, does have a hand controlled clutch on the back of the steering wheel separate from the shift paddles. F1 still uses clutches, Porsche's PDK transmission still has clutches to engage/disengage the transmission, WRC still uses manual transmissions. The list goes on.

Edit: My car has a manual, I love it, and I also like automatic transmissions. I chalk it up to different strokes for different strokes. You do you, boo.

Manual is the only transmission that belongs in a performance car, and if you have an automatic you're not a real driver/man/American/human.
