Ford/GM 10-speed Automatic Transmission

I'm impressed that Ford and GM came together to engineer such a component. I would be very interested to drive a vehicle with one of these in it.

I had the double clutch 8 speed in my Acura... worst trany ever. It was lightning fast and all but when you went to hammer the pedal at speed it would need to shift down 3 gear and take *seconds to do it*... extremely annoying. I think 6 gears is about perfect.

Funny, my previous car was a '15 TLX with 8 speed. I owned it for 5 months and got rid of it. Such a disappointment.

Previous to that was a 6MT TL which was a great car.

Who wants' a 10 speed auto i'd rather have a dual clutch transmission i bet the car will be sluggish as hell

DCT that can handle V8 torque and support FI mods are expensive.
Mustangs are great because they are nt expensive.
The winning tech is in faster Automatics with more gears.
If you wanna shift gears while doing a nasty burnout drifting thru a cloverleaf while getting on hwy:
Beefy Auto > DCT.

Look out man the car going to be drag raced more then any thing put a 10 speed tranny in it for what that's just stupid
