Automatic transmission oil

I would like to change my automatic transmission fluid but I'm not sure what to buy.

I seen 3 different royal purple oils: max gear 75w140, 85w140 and 75w90.

Which is the correct? Any other advice?

Ok, and Max ATF? amazon says the 01320 doesn't fit but 12320 yes.

I'd leave it alone for at least 40,000 miles unless you're are beating the hell out of it regularly.

I would stick with Ford's Motorcraft Mercon V ATF when you change it.

BTW, the oils you listed originally are gear oils, not auto transmission fluid...do NOT put those in your auto transmission.

I would use the fluid Ford suggest in the unit unless special circumstances exist where that fluid will not handle the stress you're subjecting it to.

I do not have my car yet to check unfortunately. Is there a simple drain plug to drain the fluid and a dipstick to check level and fill? I know some cars make changing the ATF quite difficult with not having a dipstick, etc.

No need to change until you are at 60k.
It's an automatic, it works different than manuals.

There should be a drain plug but as for dipstick, there is not one. There however is a fill hole. Like filling a diff, you just fill till its overflowing while idling at the correct temperature.
