As noted, speed has nothing to do with this issue. What good is all this speed if you cannot connect to Ford's servers. That's where the issue is.I was talking actual download speeds. I wasn't referring to the actual download speed of the car's APIM. I was referring to what I've verified my home network to be a capable of. I setup my own mesh network. I have 5 acres of land, so I wanted coverage reasonably far. I have a detached 2 car garage where both Mustangs park every night and a separate shop. It's nice to have my laptop in my shop and be able to stream whatever I want, not to mention yelling at Alexa to play music when I'm getting ready to throw wrenches at whatever I'm working on in the shop (currently a '95 Bronco on 6" lift and 35's).
Plugged into my switch (my cable router is bridged) is a different story. 400+ download has been verified. It also helps, being cable, that there are only two connection on the head unit that feeds my property. Of course we had to drop some cash t get them to run the cable, power the back up units and install the head unit - a 600ft run. But since I regularly have to connect to work from home and my wife regularly works from home it was worth it to us.
