I'm getting a new interior and I will install when I get a new boot.So you have not installed this yet?
Looks great man!My brushed ball from WM Garage came today and I wasted no time getting it installed! The stock shifter sits about 13cm tall when in park, the WM knob sits a very noticeable 2cm drop at roughly 11cm. The weight and feel is amazing. This definitely has the feel of a well-made and high-quality product. The price is definitely worth it!
That brushed looks amazing. I opted for white to match the car and that classic cue ball look...Can't wait to get mine.My brushed ball from WM Garage came today and I wasted no time getting it installed! Or just a smart CYA move since people are idiots and will complain about everything even if it's their fault. The PDF instructions makes me nervous. They go out of their way to let you know if it gets scratched they're not going to cover it under warranty. Makes me think that it's such a thin coating of paint and clearcoat that it's going to be susceptible to that. I have owned many shift knobs over the years, I've never had a problem with scratching the finish. Maybe they should've looked into a different process for their knobs, like maybe a billiard ball type for durability?? Maybe I'm wrong but my red flags are flying!
Can you explain the absence of the left side gear indicator panel and the electronics that go with it.This is a manual shift boot with auto shift adapter and shift ball that I made. What do you guys think?
You just tuck away the plug for the light. Can you explain the absence of the left side gear indicator panel and the electronics that go with it.
Is it a matter of just leaving the plug unattached underneath the chrome bezel and leather boot assembly ?
If that is the case.
I'll go that route by purchasing the OEM standard bezel and one of those aftermarket leather boots and pick-up the WM Garage shift knobs.

You can just get a regular manual boot/bezel from Ford unless you want something specific from an aftermarket boot. You'd have to do some gluing and what-not if you bought a bezel and separate leather boot. Can you explain the absence of the left side gear indicator panel and the electronics that go with it.

The plug is just for the gear lights, hook it in somewhere or tape it to something to keep it handy in case you go back to stock.
