2020 GT has anyone here swapped the OEM auto gear shift boot to an Alcantara boot?

I havent but in the auto knob threads people have swapped in the manual shift boots

I just bought a manual shift boot/trim piece to swap in. I wanted to cover up the PRNDL and swap boots, so seemed to be the easiest route. The boot I bought seems like it has too much material to pop between the silver trim ring and the black part that actually snaps into the console.
