Automatic Gear Shift Knob Removal

I want to change the pleather boot to an alcantara shift boot but am puzzled as to how to remove the shift knob.

Relatively easy install, just don't drop those 2 screws (I didn't). Center Console, brake lever and shift all have alcantara material.
