I made my Auto look and sound like a manual. I put a box of rocks under the shifter to replicate the sound, a grenade in the trans hull with the pin pulled to replicate the shards sent when exploding, and a tow hitch on the front bumper to be pulled off the track when the aforementioned occurs. I love my new mods!! I need this shifter handle in my life to make it complete!!!

It came free with the kit. It doesnt matter because hinda shafts are the same size as ours. Their buttons are on the top just like ours.

Does the shaft go through the existing plastic collar glued on the boot?

No. The leather is just keeping it pressed up against the metal collar. I need to get an aftermarket boot and make a custom boot setup

Got it, thanks. Have you considered getting the manual boot similar to the OP?

Wait...we're putting Honda parts on the Mustang now? Do the regular Mustang manual knobs fit on this? I'd be in the market for a better looking knob :)

It's a "universal" part really. It should fit any shift knob, theyre generally a standard thread size.

It looks good, it's a thinner look than the other project in this thread, I like the look a bit more.

Is it any taller than the stock setup? It looks tall but may just by the pic angle.

I would also agree, try the manual boot I think it will fit better- I think they're only like $25-30

The threads on top are universal. The shaft size comes with large and small adapters with a set screw

Looks to me like sickspeed shift knows are not the factory size, they're M10*1.5.

So you will not be able to use any manual mustang shift knob, it will have to be some universal style.
