How long after you get the nsc code does the vin arrive?

I received my VIN at the start of August after asking the dealer for it (unsure when it would have first been available).

Once I received it I was then constantly checking for a window sticker. I understand that window stickers become available on the Thursday (US time) of the week before it is due to go into production.

Thanks for the spec list ecoboyboost. As far as I'm aware the spec listed within Etis is meant to be accurate (unlike some of the 'standard' items listed on the window sticker). As such, I think this is the most accurate list of what spec the Aus cars are coming with that we have seen to date. I'll be interested to see if Etis gets updated for my car with more details over the coming days.

Some items that stood out being:
- With Level 2 Door Trim Panel - I wonder if this means the 'soft touch' plastics on the door trim?
- With Lunar Contrast Stitching - I wonder is this is referring to the contrast stitching on the dash?
- With KMH/MPH Speedometer - This would imply we would have both KPH and MPH listed on the speedo (not something that is very common for cars in Aus?)
- With Rear Parking Aid - Looks like we are getting the rear parking senors plus the rear view camera

The inverter is a 240 volt / 150 watt Power Outlet in the car.
You can run a 240 volt appliance as long as it draws less than 150 watts.

No mention of an 'Engine Oil Cooler'.
The USA GT 5.0 PP come with the 'Engine Oil Cooler'.
It will be interesting to see how ours perform in Summer with no Hood Vents that are functional and designed to vent hot air from under the Hood.

best thing we can all do is when the temp gets terribly hot and starts boiling over call your dealer, call ford, call ghostbusters, pretty much call anybody who will listen and they will need to come up with some solution to the problem, there are reports of people in the southern states of US which are having cooling issues WITH the vents.

atleast by the time i get mine in july most of these bugs should be ironed out... i hope.

Interesting comparison - I had just started to do the same - but you beat me to it.
The differences are not as much as I thought - most seem to make sense - the main disappointing thing is the lack of bonnet vents on our version.
I also noted that the USA version has "less Daytime running lights " which is strange.

What bothers me here is that one says "Less Engine Cooling System" on Etis, another says "With standard engine cooling system" etc. Not sure if these are referring to oil cooling or radiator, but why would you exclude these in Oz???

Then they went and detuned the GT probably because the climate and cooling and 'extreme environment'.

So they Europeans get large radiator because of the Autobahn or whatever, but it appears that we get the stock cooling and the most detuned motor.

The hell is going on?! Of all the missing items, I now feel a tad short changed.

Its Australia. 40 deg+, 20 km/h crawl in the afternoon freeway. This would be an incredibly stupid omission.

Has anyone got any more info from Ford about this?
