Hi everyone,
So I have browed the various threads related to upgrading the audio system in our cars. At the moment, I have the base 6 speaker system...its not too bad, but I would like it a little better.
I have looked at the wiring diagrams in the following thread for some guidance: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/stereo-information-wiring-upgrades-etc.25501/
However, after looking at these diagrams, it seems to me that one could potentially install the factory GT amplifier into these base cars without much trouble or rewiring...but what is throwing me off is where the amplifier gets its power source. Is it a powered amplifier? Could this be done without much effort? What am I missing?
