Anyone out there dailying their S550 with an APR splitter? How practical is it? The S550 doesn't seem ridiculously low and the APR splitter is only slightly extended from the front fascia but I would like to know experiences with speed humps, driveways etc.

I'm going with the Ford Racing track suspension for a 1 inch drop in the front.

It's a great looking mod and I will track my S550 but it's my day to day car also so want to make sure I'm not making a mistake before buying.

You'll be fine, I DD mine. I scrape my rear rtr diffuser a lot more than my front splitter. I only remember scraping my apr splitter once or twice, but no visible damage at all.

Thanks, it doesn't look to be too impractical from the way it mounts so good to hear!

How low is your car that you manage to scrape the RTR diffuser?

I Have had mine for almost a year. Just watch the curbs and driveways. Otherwise you are good!

Daily mine haven't had any issues and i have an inclined driveway. Few pics below, also 2 pics of my driveway best i have representing the incline. Just have to learn to approach at angles. Lowered on steeda ultralite linears and the drop is lower than advertised (1.125"f / 1"r) it's more like 1.5" all around

I recently sold mine just because my car is my daily and i scrape my OEM PP splitter daily going into my work's parking lot. My car is dropped 1.5 inches in the front so that doesnt help at all.

I have also been debating on getting the apr or steeda but I'm a bit scared of destroying it soon after. For you guys that have splitters, how do you get to the oil filters for oil changes?

Its not in the way of the oil filter. my bro works at a shop so it's on a lift for oil changes as for jacks in a garage i cannot comment. Splitter at least APR stops before the oil filter

Thanks for the driveway pics. Mine won't be as low as yours so I should be OK by the sounds of it. Your car looks awesome, any more pics of it?

The Steeda is defintely a more under the radar look. I like the quality of their products in general but the splitter looks a little cheap? Need to see some more pics of it
