Hello all, I ordered the 68B package myself. My interior color is ebony. FWIW my dealer had a tough time entering the order. We went round and round how to get it to accept the upgrade. Turns out the interior code moves from 41 to 51, once the 51 is changed the 68B could be entered. We could not enter the 68B with the interior code being a 41. I almost surrendered to not having the premium package but my dealer was as persistent as I was. Nice to be getting it exactly as i wanted. There is much written on this package, I hope it holds up and fits well. I mention my order detail so as to help anyone who attempts to order this but gets confused when at the dealership.

I did not want the premium package because I fell in love with the ceramic color seats. I did not think the redline would go well with Deep Impact Blue, and was not fond of the black.

it makes no sense though why ceramic and saddle can't get the upgrade panels on the doors though

The 41 what is EBONY / 41 is switching automatically to Raven / 51 when a dealer makes the change to "Premum-Trim" leather. Had the same problem with my order because I got Dark Saddle and I could not order the Premium-Trim package - it switched automatically to 51 / Raven. So we ended up without a premium leather in my premium car.
But again. It is not a regret not to get it. It's how stupid Ford North America is planning their cars. I am sure they could have sold much more premium-trim packages if it wouldn't be only in Raven or Race Red.

my only regret is that Ford didn't offer 68B with Dark Saddle. but I'm hoping it might be possible to swap door panels somewhere down the road.

My dealer called and found the exact car I wanted, minus premier trim. It was either get one without the trim package and pick it up in two days, or order one, wait 8-12 weeks, and hope incentives were still available. I was tired of waiting, so I picked up my car without it. From pictures I noticed the stitching was a bit different, but didn't figure I'd care too much in the long run.

It would have been nice if I found one with it, but at the same time I've never been sitting in my car and thought I wish the interior was nicer.

When I ordered my 13 I got the incentives that were current plus any that came out that were better before the car arrived.

The dark saddle color was more important to me than the soft touch upper door panels. I agree it would have been nice to have the option, but I don't have regrets about the choice. Every time I get in the car, I enjoy the look of the interior.

The door arm rests and the center storage box cover are soft touch, and that's where most of the time I would be feeling interior materials.

The 68B is very nice, however, especially for the modest price.

The first 2015 I sat in had Premier leather. Of course, all black. It felt like I was sitting in a soft black cave. The next GT had Dark Saddle. I realized that soft door panels were not that important if I couldn't get Dark Saddle. I didn't find that Premium/Premier trim leather were that much different in feel. Maybe in a couple of years...but the Premier leather seemed so soft that I was worried that it would not wear as well.

It all seemed pretty clear on the build and price--I can understand if you ordered before it was up and running that the interior upgrade was a little vague in what you got.

I have 68b. I ordered it in June with little info - it was cheap enough where I didnt mind and honestly I wanted the nicest interior possible (it's important to me personally).

My review after owning the car for 2 weeks - it's one of the best price/value upgrades there is. The leather is butter soft, all panels seems soft and comfortable to rest your elbow/hand, the stitching is nice and goes along the dash etc. I sat in a Premium Stang w/o it and the seats just didnt seem like the same quality - it had a plasticky look. Long story short I felt 68B added a class to the cabin (between the seats, the feel and look), esp with the PP metal trim. Recommend it for sure.

Are you sure? If that's the case... well I regret less now. It is the area I touch the most. I don't touch the top part of the door often anyway. The storage cover is leather but my arm rests on the hard plastic.
My EB Premium without the premium trim has padded material (hide of the Nauga presumibly, not real leather) on the arm rests that flows into the same padded material on the door panel inserts.

The dash pad and center console cover are a molded & padded matetial with fake stiching.

Positive, as I have 68B in my car and that area is hard plastic. It doesn't any make any sense that they make the upper dash, where there is no reason to touch it, soft. And the center console that gets touched a lot is hard. Maybe it's a durability thing. But it still seems odd.
Dash pads have been padded on cars since the 60's. It started as a safety thing if you hit your head on the dash in an accident. Other than very high end cars I have never seen a console that was covered with leather or other soft touch matetial.

No, but I got the base GT and put in my own premium leather seats and door panels which are better :p. But yeah if I had paid 5000 more on a premium then I might regret that. I honestly dont know what you all are complaining about on the top of the door panel anyway. Ive got the base and the door isnt all that hard or anything. Certainly a lot better than the hard plastic in previous Mustangs.
You did door panel inserts correct? If so how much of a pain in the a** was it? Looking to order and install my leather soon and am debating whether or not to do the insert.

In all the talk of soft door tops, what is lost is the quality of the seat leather. I switched my order from Dark Saddle to 68B Redline at the last minute, then got to check my choice when a Dark Saddle white GT arrived at the dealer a couple of days before mine did.

I did well.

The 68B seats feel like European luxury compared with the standard leather. The red stitching is very upmarket and the overall look/feel of the interior is way beyond the price class.

My car is white, which means the color scheme is similar to one that BMW, Jaguar and Maserati are using right now. I am OK with that. But Redline looks great on Silver, Magnetic, Black, and just killer on DIB (another BMW color scheme).

If you order 68B, you won't regret it.
