I really think this model should have been called Boss 302. To me, the G1 Mach 1 options were an appearance option, nicer interior and stripes-to get the muscle you had to pay more. I'm thinking Ford wants some synergy with the Mach E coming out.
I remember when the Wrangle 4 door came out, I thought it was a mistake but Jeep gained a whole new customer base. I can't believe Ford hasn't amortized the Mustang chassis buy building other body styles-especially a sport sedan for Lincoln.
When I went in 2004 it rained all Saturday, I've gone 5 times and only the first time was rain free. Every time I've gone to the All Mopar show its been sunny and hot. I wish they would move the Ford show to later in summer.
If you guys want to get real crazy don't forget the top performance model of the 79 to 81 Mustangs was called Cobra. And, in the latter 80's up here in Canada Mustang GT's had a sticker on the rear hatch that said Cobra. Most folks speculate the name was added to keep the copyright.
After visiting the Toronto auto show I came away most impressed with the Stinger, the name is kinda goofy but the value is amazing. I was thinking of buying a 3 series but after looking at the Stinger, which in Canada only comes with the V6, I'm going to test drive one when the weather warms up.
The 01 Bullitt had an aluminum intake and freer flow exhaust--I think the intake was offered through FP but would only work on the 1999 and up PI heads. I remember when the wheels were off the shocks and struts had Tokico stickers with Ford part numbers.
I've been driving in the snow since 1977, so far so good. Southern Ontario can be funny, Buffalo is an hour drive away but they can be clobbered by snow and we got nothing. We can have a very mild winter buy then during spring break Whamm, 10 inches in a few hours and then its melted in 2 days...
I had a 2001 Bullitt until I sold it to buy my 2015, I really miss that car. I'm thinking of changing rides in the spring, hope they announce it in January. I'm thinking this may be an intro video for an auto show intro--Ford didn't make any Bullitt specific commercials for the 2001 or 2008...
I'm really stoked to hear any new Mustang news, the 2018 refresh, too me, wasn't all that big a deal--like I told my wife "nothing that makes me want to trade my 15 in on one". Back in the 2000's we were getting special editions all the time--Bullitts, Mach 1's, Cobras. Heck check the...
I think most of my fellow Canadian owners store our cars not because of a fear of driving in the snow but the fact the salt and other crap they put on the roads rot out the underside. As long as you got snow tires most driving should be okay. The only thing I find with driving in the winter is...
A friend let me use his hoist and I went up through the bottom--believe me the installation video makes it look like you can remove it from the top but I found it was impossible.
