I get flashed by other cars when I'm in my 2014 currently. I got flashed by my wife in the garage when I brought the Boss302 home. She thought it was sexy

The lights are actually aimed pretty low...at least on mine.

I somehow thought that this thread would be about women exposing their chests on the highway.
+1 thought it was another pleasant surprise I had to look forward to when it finally gets here.
Man, I did too! I keep seeing posts about people discovering new features, I was real excited thinking this was one of them!

This morning we got some of the first fog of the season and I noticed that the headlights on my car are aimed pretty high. I don't think it helps that the car feels like it rides higher in the front stock.

After I lower the car I'm going to look at aiming the headlights, as it is right now it's pretty clear they are too high.

I've never driven HIDs before, and the way the light projects is interesting. It's very bright where it's aimed, and very dark above that until you hit the brights.

I don't ever feel like it's shining too high, and there are times when I'm wishing it would shine higher. Some people are saying it's too low and some say it's too high. Is it likely that they're not all aimed properly from the factory? Or is it more likely personal preference? I'd imagine the ON or OFF nature of the light makes it different enough that some people may want them higher than they're intended because other light technologies have more dispersed light.

This is happening to me non stop I even thought a cop was going to pull me over. They are not that bright I think the aim or color maybe just bothers some people not sure.

I've been driving a Premium EB rental since last Friday (11/07) and have been out every night and have not gotten flashed yet.

I've got the factory HID's on my 2011 with almost 95k miles on it and most of my driving is at night and have been flashed only a few times over the past 4-1/2 years.

That said, the HID's on this 2015 do seem brighter to me or maybe just have a slightly different beam pattern due to the headlamp shape, or are just aimed slightly different when compared to my 2011.

i tried searching for how to aim / adjust the headlights / headlamps in the forum, but it yielded no results.

then i looked in the manual, and it tells you in there exactly how to do it. there's an adjustment screw and all you need is a #2 phillips

It's happened a couple times to me. I just give them a quick flick by pulling back on the lever to let them know I was on low. I have also accidentally forgot to lower them a couple times as this is the first car with blue dash lights for me and the high beam indicator isn't that noticable. When I got my 2002 GT new I had to turn my low beams down until they were pretty useless as this was the first car that I owned with a sharp cut off at the top of the lights and every second person was flashing their lights at me. If you hit a little bump in the road the sharp cut off at the top of the lights seems to flash at people and some don't know you aren't doing it on purpose.

I thought this thread was going to be about 2015 Mustangs loading a Tune, sometimes called flashing the computer.:(
