Has anyone dynoed for actual HP increase for Steeda Pro-Flow Closed CAI to see if it actually increased HP and TQ. Do you have to retune for it?
Thanks

I think if you search Steeda did back to back 1/4 mile runs with and without their CAI, the car went faster with it. Dyno's lie drag strips don't.

Agreed. Steeda does post a dyno sheet on the website and they claim 25-30HP on a tuned engine. With their reputation I would have no issues believing them.

I believe the drag strip test was only tuned for MAF, so actual CAI increase.

I've dynoed 1000's of engines and if you do a second pull within 15 min or so the second always shows about 10% higher numbers.

I was on the fence but decided against it. You do need a tune for the CAI.

Tune required with or without insert. Also keep in mind the reported issues of running flex tunes with this kit in case that's applicable to you.

If 18+, stock intake flows well, keeps iats down and provides smooth maf curve. If running 15-17 then consider upgrading to 18+ oem for the above listed reasons.

Yes, I read about some problems with the maf signal. Im sure its a nice part just not so sure about getting one. I was going to buy one a few days ago and take advantage of Steeda's End of the year sale but just couldnt do it.
