Ran my 2019 PP1 M6 on the dyno yesterday. Car has an H-Pipe and e85R tune from lund.

2 runs were the stock filter, 3rd run was with am AEM Dryflow. All runs were back to back.

Hot day yesterday in Texas and it seems the car was heat soaking considering the power tapered off fairly quickly up top. Timing was pulled more than likely.

I'm sure with a cooler day the difference would be more noticeable.

Did the same thing with my buddies car. 2019 with Headers and e85 PBD tune.

One of the runs was in 5th gear. Not sure why they did that.

The rest are in 4th gear.
2 with stock filter and 1 with AEM Dry Flow.

Wow that's some nice comparison. Glad to see positive results and runs back to back. Especially with the drop in being at the end of the runs

good stuff. i swapped from the PMAS back to stock box with this filter and honestly feel like the car pulls smoother and harder than it did with the pmas.

This seems to be the setup for 18+. Performs well at temperature too!

Yup OEM 18 intake with drop in. Keeps iats reasonable without sacrificing flow. My last pull with similar mods was 516whp/454wtq so it's a proven combo. Plus stock box allows for smooth maf curve and no turbulence so can efficiently run flex tune if not going straight e85r.

Yup. The guys spectating the dyno runs were shocked with 20rwhp on the car with headers. My buddy ordered one instantly since the filter came off my car.

I have run the AEM dry panel filter for a while now. You can also open up a considerable amount of the honeycomb grill right around the cold air intake tube. ;).

Does that actually do anything? And does it affect anything in a negative way? I have heard mixed things about this but I’m interested

It will allow more air into the air box. People do open up the honeycomb and some will also add the velossa big mouth for even more flow to the box.

You will get more bugs and crap into the box is the only down side. I will take more air any day. Used a 1/2 inch drill bit and opened up the closed honeycombs.

I'd think his buddies car with E85 tune and headers would be closer to 500 whp? just curious if the number discrepancy due to a different dyno.. also stock GT makes around 420 whp on most dynos i've seen and a E85 tune would put it somewhere close to 450 whp ?
