No, it was a MY 18 allocation built to order. I hope Jason pipes in here and shares his experience...... color, options, etc.

On a side note, I feel I made a big mistake today when I measured a person by how many posts he has. After speaking with him, I found Jason to be an enthusiast, one who really enjoys these cars. I hope he becomes a participating member of our community.

Hey Tom! I'm sorry for late response and still getting used to the forum. I ordered the 2018 GT350R in Lead Foot Grey with black/red accent over the top with the electronics package. I'm very excited and grateful for the lead on the allocation! I'm looking forward to receive additional information on build date and keeping fingers crossed for an early delivery before they take their mid cycle break.

User Abhele is looking, I think

I hooked up Abhele with a LB R at $5K over out of Texas over a month or so ago.

I haven't seen him post on here about it since, but believe it is now in his garage. :shrug:

Still regretting letting it go, but will hopefully pick one up by the time the run is all said and done. Timing just wasn't right.

That tactic wouldn't have worked well in Florida. $68K + $5K ADM = $73K.

$73K +$5110 sales tax, shipping the car ($1k?), tag, title, dealer fee (some places $1K), car insurance, and everything else would have made this "not worth the effort". Not to mention the risk involved if you had an accident with the car or sustained damage somewhere.

Don't hold your breathe! The market right now on R's is up from a few months ago, if you can find $5K over on a popular color right now, you've accomplished something!
