I love my active exhaust (2019 pp2) but I wouldn't mind if it was a just a tad louder. I don't want it raspy, hence the H, but it's hard to judge based on online videos what it would sound like. But based on some research, I think this is the direction I may lean it. Anyone done it and regret it? I don't want to lose the sound of my active exhaust since it's amazing. I just want to amplify it a little bit.

Haven’t heard the H in person but started with the X and loved it with my active exhaust. Mine was a Steeda as well. Do it!!!!

Interested as well. Will also like to know how it affects the sound inside the cabin.

It’s not bad at all. I have active exhaust. With catless longtubes it’s terrible though. Switched to magnaflow true x after longtubes. But perfect with factory manifolds. Only thing I regretted about the x pipe was not doing it sooner.

I have the Roush H pipe on my 2019 PP2 and I love it. Not raspy at all. Has more of the deeper old school sound. No droning inside, but can still hear it in sport and track modes. I have no regrets at all.

I am using the Steeda H with A/E on my 2019 PP1. I should have done it sooner. I love it. It is a cheap mod, and if you don't like it, you can sell it easily.

I run in Track mode all the time. It isn't too loud inside for me and I am in a vert. It is loud on the outside in Track, but not obnoxious.

It's fantastic with the AE system, sounds great, loses a few lbs, and reasonably cheap (my H + install was under $200).

Quiet mode it more or less the same, standard is a bit louder, sport sounds amazing, I drive around most of the time in S+ mode, and it's perfect, about as loud as the stock sport mode, but with a better tone.

You can't beat the Steeda H pipe. The sound with the active exhaust is perfect!

Oh, I'd to my comment above that I have a convertible, so most of the time the tops down (and it's not too loud) and with the top up, it doesn't have quite the sound insulation of a coupe but at least in standard mode it doesn't drone at all, it's decently quiet (and in actual quiet mode with the top up it's like the car isn't even running ...)

Funny that this topic came up as just last Friday, I put the MBRP X pipe on my 17 Roush RS3.
Now it does have the same exhaust as what the Active exhaust would have, just no valves.
Stock it was decently loud, but it needed more.
With the X pipe in, it is loud. A good loud, LOL. Gets really loud when you jump on it.
Not bad inside, but outside, it's what a 730 HP Roush should be.
Active Exhaust would be nice.

I only regret not installing it sooner. Lovely non-annoying timber (I think X pipes sound like shit at least when pared with the noisy systems) and 'smooth' sound. In-cabin is quite modest. I have it paired with the Borla Touring setup.
